Ayaz Khokhar

Managing Partner & CEO

Mr. Khokhar is Founder and CEO of Source3 Energy Inc. He leads the firm’s vision, strategic direction and provides leadership in capital raise, project origination, transaction advisory and investment decisions. 

He leads and works within the power, infrastructure, oil and gas and natural resources sectors. His clients include leading energy and power generation companies, upstream and midstream oil and gas firms, developers, IPPs, utilities, mining companies. On capital placements we works with institutional investors and private equity

Mr. Khokhar possesses 20 years of international global business and project origination, development, financing and M&A experience of over $8 billion in projects.

Previously, Mr. Khokhar held progressively challenging management roles at Lucent Technologies in US, Europe and APAC. In these roles, Mr. Khokhar lead the post-merger integration of Lucent Technologies with Alcatel and was responsible for $810MM in synergy saving. Mr. Khokhar also held the position of Country Business Manager for Lucent Canada where he was responsible for managing Lucent Canada’s Operations with an annual budget of $117MM and a turnover of $1.1B.

Prior to 2000, Mr. Khokhar held various technical and management positions at engineering and consulting firms in the US.

Mr. Khokhar holds two undergraduate degrees, in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management
